Call Forward Follow Me This feature allows you to temporarily direct incoming calls for your extension to a different extension. To activate: - Lift receiver and listen for dial tone.
- Dial *2, listen for dial tone.
- Dial the extension that you wish your call to forward to.
- Listen for confirmation tone (2 beeps).
NOTE: When your number is dialed, your phone will ring briefly to remind you that you have forwarded your calls. To deactivate: - Lift receiver and listen for dial tone.
- Dial #2, listen for confirmation tone (3 beeps).
NOTE: This feature must be cancelled from you phone. Transfer A Call This feature allows you to transfer a call to another station. This feature varies with the type of telephone set. Single Line Set To activate: After receiving a call: - Press [Flash] button.
- Present call is put on hold.
- Dial number the call is to be transferred to.
- Remain on the line and announce call.
- Hang up.
- Transfer is complete.
Multiple Line Set To activate: After receiving a call: - Press [Transfer] button.
- Present call is put on hold.
- Dial number call is to be transferred to.
- Remain on line to announce call.
- Press [Transfer] button a second time.
- Hang up.
- Transfer is complete.
Conference Call This feature allows you to add additional parties to a call and varies with the type of set. Single line phones are permitted three parties on a conference call, while multi-line phone sets are permitted six parties. Single Line Set To add a third party to a call: - Press [Flash] button.
- Present call is put on hold.
- Dial number of third party.
- Press [Flash] button.
- All parties are now connected.
Multi-Line Set To add a third or subsequent party (up to six): - Press [Conference] button.
- Present call is put on hold.
- Dial number of new or subsequent party and wait for answer.
- Press [Conference] button.
- All parties are now connected.
- Repeat Steps (1-3) for additional conference connections.
In either situation, to drop the third party, press "drop" and you will remain connected to the original party. Call Forwarding to Voice Mail To activate: Dial *3 and x68580 from the voice mailbox's main telephone. A confirmation beep tone indicates that the feature is activated. This will send callers to your voice mailbox immediately. It overrides the system programming. To deactivate: Dial #3, confirmation beep tone indicates that the feature is deactivated and the system programming will be followed. Call Pickup To activate Call Pickup, you must send an e-mail request to Telecommunications to be placed in a Call-Pickup group. You can use Call Pickup to answer another ringing telephone in your department or area (as long as the participants are in the same Call-Pickup group) by pressing #4. After that, you are able to answer the ringing telephone. While on another call, put your call on "hold", press an idle line appearance and dial #4 to pick up the ringing telephone.
Programming AD Buttons - Lift receiver and listen for dial tone.
- Dial *0 and listen for dial tone.
- Press the AD button which you wish to program. The AD button will light.
- Dial the number to be entered.
- Press the same AD button again.
Light will go out and confirmation tone will be heard. Programming a new number on an AD button will write over any previous number. If you wish to erase an AD button and leave it blank, follow the steps above but skip step 4. |
