The Telecommunications Services Department is responsible for providing telecommunications services for the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and Johns Hopkins University facilities at the East Baltimore and Bayview Medical Center Campuses and numerous other locations in and around Baltimore.

Our objective is to ensure that the faculty, staff, students, patients and visitors have reliable and convenient telecommunications services and equipment. The management and staff of the organization is dedicated to providing to you, the customer, prompt, accurate and friendly service.

Major areas of responsibility include: procurement, installation and repair of all telecommunications infrastructure and services (including Telephones, Voice Mail, Pagers and Wireless Equipment), Telephone Attendant Services (including Disaster and Safety Teams dispatching), and Telecommunications Project Management related to new construction or relocation services.
