Call for Vendors

Information Technology @ Johns Hopkins is pleased to announce its’ Annual Technology Expo. We are excited to be able to hold this event on two separate days on two separate campuses: One for the Homewood Community and one for the East Baltimore community. The dates are as follows:

October 22, 2009 – Homewood Campus

January 14, 2010 – East Baltimore Campus

Each is a day-long event and will provide The Johns Hopkins research, teaching and clinical communities with information concerning services, applications currently in use, and vendor partner relationships.

Please note that by participating in both events, we are able to offer a discounted rate.

If you would like to participate in the Vendor Exhibition Area, we are pleased to offer the following registration. Please confirm your attendance by completing the online form at the end of this page.

Booth Fee - $600.00 one day; $800.00 both days

(This includes one 6 x 2 skirted table, two chairs, one wastebasket, two vendor badges for admittance to the day’s events, plus two IT logo bags)

Additional Attendees - $100.00 one day; $50.00 both days

(This includes one IT logo bag and one admittance to each day’s events. No more than two (2) additional attendees, please)

Signs: Vendors are encouraged to bring their own booth signage. 

Wireless: Wireless communications is available in some areas of the conference and expo. Vendors must provide their own wireless device. We will provide the configuration information at the conference, and there will be limited support to vendors.

Electricity: A 110-volt single receptacle will be available for use. Other power arrangements may possibly be made at an additional charge. It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure sufficient power to the display booth. Please indicate requirements in addition to the basic 110-volt receptacle at the online Vendor Registration.

Equipment Shipping: Equipment being shipped may not arrive at Johns Hopkins until one day prior to the event.

  • Each vendor participating in the Technology Exhibition will be charged the display booth fee, even if providing speakers for the program.
  • Each single booth allows for two named vendor attendees and two meal plans at no additional charge.    (Platinum and Gold sponsors receive a higher number of attendees and meal plans in exchange for their sponsorship.)
  • There is an additional charge for each named vendor attendee and/or meal plan beyond the first two.  (Platinum and Gold sponsors receive a higher number of meal plans in exchange for their sponsorship.)

Exhibitor Badges: All representatives of vendors participating in the Technology Exhibition must wear Exhibitor badges.  Exhibitor badges will be provided for all named vendor attendees whose names are provided at least two weeks before the Conference.  After that time, exhibitor badges may be requested at the Registration desk during the Conference.  There will be an additional charge for attendees and meal plans beyond those already paid for by the vendor.


Booth Assignment:  JHU reserves the right to decline participation or to change any booth assignment for any vendor whose products or services do not contribute to JHU’s goals for the Conference.

Registration fees can by made via credit card, we will accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. If you choose to pay by check, please make checks payable to the “Information Technology @ Johns Hopkins" Reservations are due by October 1, 2009 and December 30, 2009. There will be an additional $50 fee for Confirmation Forms postmarked after each date. Please make checks payable as follows:
