JHED-LDAP Project Integration If you have an application you would like to integrate with JHED, please follow the steps below: - Contact directoryhelp@jhmi.edu to gain access to EDIR(Enterprise Directory Information Request).
- Fill out an EDIR for your Project.
- Someone from Directory Services will contact you to verify the information in your EDIR.
- If necessary, a quick meeting will be held to answer any questions either you or Directory Services has about the project and/or integration with JHED.
- Access to the LDAP Test Server will be granted to project test server.
- Once project is ready, Directory Services will schedule a time to monitor the LDAP Test Server while you run through your project. This step will be repeated as necessary until your project is running correctly.
- User level access to your project will be granted to Directory Services for them to do a run through and make sure there is no incorrect or inappropriate usage of data or access.
- A “go-live” date will be selected by your project team and confirmed with Directory Services. You will send an e-mail to the Helpdesk informing them of your new application and answering any questions they have regarding support.
- Access to the production LDAP Server will be granted and your project will go live.
