SSH Secure CommunSSH Setup Instructions for Macintosh Once you have ssh installed on your computer, you need to set up the port forwarding. This process is exactly the same as if you were using a Windows machine. To set up your port forwarding, follw the instructions on this page, then return here. Now you have all of your settings, you need to do the following to save them: - Go to File -> Save Settings As...
- Enter a name for this set of preferences (setting and port forwarding) and browse to a good place to save it
- Click on "Save"
- Now, when you start up ssh again, go to File-> Open Settings...
- Select the file that you saved earlier, then click on "Open"
- All of your setting and port forwarding should now activate when you log into the server
The follwing email programs have been successfully tested: - Outlook Express 4.01 using '127.0.0.1' as the server
- Outlook Express 4.5 using '127.0.0.1' as the server
- Eudora Light 3.1.1 using '127.0.0.1' as the server
- Eudora Light 3.1.3 using '127.0.0.1' as the server
- Eudora Pro 4.0.1 using '127.0.0.1' as the server
- Eudora Pro 4.5 using '127.0.0.1' as the server
