Topics: What to do when customers report un-deliverables before/after the migration. There is something similar to GroupWise “Frequent Contacts” in Outlook/Exchange. This feature is extremely useful but creates some challenges during migration as systems changes for email addresses take place. During the course of the GroupWise migration, email addresses used by the system will change and result in some undeliverable responses for specific recipients. If this happens, you need to delete the contact from the "Frequently Used Contacts" list and then re-select from the Outlook/Exchange system address book. To remove a contact from your list so that it won't be suggested again: - Open a new message and begin typing in the name or the address.
- A window will reveal the suggested recipient that matches the name criteria you entered.
- Use the up and down arrow keys to select the address to be removed from the addresses suggested.
- When the address to be removed is highlighted, press the Delete key.
After deleting the entry, select the recipient from the Address Book and resend the message. To remove all "Frequently Used Contacts" and build a fresh list, locate the following file and delete it. NOTE: Deleting this file will remove all contacts. c:\Documents and Settings\<your login>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.NK2 It is highly probable that some customers will receive undeliverable responses during the migration period as internal email “Routing Addresses” will be changing constantly. To enable or disable the Auto-Complete feature in Microsoft Outlook 2007: - Go to the Tools pull-down menu and choose Options.
- Click the E-mail Options button, then click the Advanced E-mail Options button.
- To enable Auto-Complete, check the box for Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields.
