How To Check Your Exchange Mailbox Size Using Outlook

• On the top menu bar in the main Outlook window, click Tools, then click Mailbox Cleanup...

• In the Mailbox Cleanup window, click View Mailbox Size.

• Click on the Server Data tab to show the size of your email account on the Exchange server.
• The window below the size totals information will help identify the folders that contain the largest amounts of email messages. You can scroll through and check to see which folders are the largest and may contain messages that can be deleted.
• Remember to think of mailbox size in terms of megabytes (MB) vs. kilobytes (KB). The total mailbox size is being represented in KB not MB. For example, a total mailbox size of 638668KB = 638MB.
