The “SAP GUI” is a 98MB file that can be downloaded here: http://h1support.jhmi.edu/SAPClient/HopkinsOneGUI.exe It is installation software for the “SAP client”: the separate software that is used for various HopkinsOne features. It is required for “more advanced users.” Comprehensive lists of HopkinsOne users have been sent to various divisional/departmental groups as well as to the ICSC. In these large spreadsheets, the term “Win” has been used to identify those who need this software installed, according to their “role.” This document assumes the GUI has already been installed on the client to be tested. If the client is not installed, the test will not work and an error message will be displayed. At the workstation where the GUI is installed, do the following steps; 1) Double-click on the HopkinsOne icon displayed on the Desktop. (If the icon has been removed from the Desktop, open a browser and enter this URL http://hopkinsone.johnshopkins.edu/ 2) The HopkinsOne production portal screen will display.
3) Select the “Click Here” link.
4) The SAPGUI client will start up and display the following.
5) Close the window by pressing Alt-F4 or selecting the X in the upper right hand side of the window. 6) Be sure the above screen displays. This completes the test. |
