Have you logged in to JHED (Enterprise Directory)?
To successfully activate a JHEM account, you must first go to JHED to find your JHED login ID (LID), then follow the first time login instructions to set up your password and secret question/answer combination. This login and password will be the same ones you use to log into JHEM.

Are you a Freshman, or a new Undergraduate Student, and this is the first time login for you?
All Freshmen and new undergraduate students at Hopkins, upon their first login to JHED, they will have to take and successfully pass an Information Technology quiz prior to gaining access to JHEM.
Freshmen will not have access to their JHEM account until August 15 of the year that they start at Hopkins.
