ServiceCenter 6.1.2 Download Install Instructions for Desktop Client Uninstall the previous version of ServiceCenter 5.0.3 FIRST Select the link below to start the install of the desktop client. Follow the wizard prompts and use the following instructions to correctly install the client. URL : www.it.jhu.edu/itrestricted/ServiceCenter.zip - At the Welcome to ServiceCenter Client Setup Screen, Select: NEXT
- ServiceCenter Client License Agreement Check: I ACCEPT then NEXT
- ServiceCenter Client setup – choose Setup Type, Select: CUSTOM
- ServiceCenter Client Setup – Custom Setup, Click on the Advance Documentation
Box in the tier under ServiceCenter Client. - Select on the drop-down : X Entire Feature will be unavailable
- Advanced documentation should now show a RED X in the box.
- Select NEXT at the bottom of the screen.
- ServiceCenter Client Setup – Ready to Install Select: INSTALL
- The wizard will now start the install onto your desktop.
- On the Completing the ServiceCenter Client Setup Wizard screen, select: FINISH
Start the Application - ServiceCenter Client - Configure the Client for configuration.
- On the Connections Screen, Select: NEW
- On the Name field at the top, enter the name of this connection: ServiceCenter 6.1.2
- In the user name field enter your JHED ID
- In the password field enter your JHED PASSWORD
- In the Server Host name field, enter: exxon.hosts.jhmi.edu
- The Server port number should show: 12670
Select: APPLY
Select: CONNECT
